I've just finished reading Da Vinci Code!
Ya I know this book has been around for quite some time liao..
He bought this book for me during Vday which I suggested too.
Cos I really wana read! I wana know what is inside this book...

Anyway this book is about a Harvard professor Robert Langdon who was suspected of murdering a famous elderly curator. Then came along his grand-daughter called Sophie Neveu who is a gifted French crypotologist. They went through numerous mind-throbbing riddles that lead them to the works of Leonardo Da Vinci like The Last Supper, Virgin on the Rocks. Then there is this bad guy called "The Teacher" who made use of several people to obtain his objective. Unless these 2 fellows can decipher the code and quickly assemble the pieces of the puzzle, a stunning hostorical myth will be lost forever.

The ending has a twist.

Hmm, I must say this book certainly keeps me wanting to read more but also because I wana finish asap so that I can concentrate on my exams! Haha...excuses right..
There's a lot of controversies in this book and I actually searched the internet to find out the facts.

The book said things like:
-Jesus and Mary (Jesus's mother) was a couple
-sacred feminine
-holy grail is actually a person, not a thing, females are to be tortured because Eve ate the apple which is a bad thing (which explains why we have to give birth and menstration?) and
-about time to tell the world the truth which the Churches had hidden it for the past 2 milleniums.

Obviously, I don't know the truth behind all these but I believed there's a tiny certain truth in it. If not, why would there be THE ROSE LINE, The Knights Templar, The Temple Church, etc in existence? It's like all the incidents are too concidental!

Anyway, I think it's a good book to read it...but don't be too engrossed in it and believe EVERYTHING what the author says. Anyway, this is a fiction book. The movie is coming out soon! You can visit http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/thedavincicode/
