Everything happens when the famous curator of the Louvre, Jacqueres Sauniere, is murdered inside the museum, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is called upon to decipher a strange symbol found near the body. Then a talented French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, who is also Sauniere's granddaughter joined in the fun and adventure...blarblarblar....
Well, they did followed closely with the storybook, even their dialogues are almost the same as the book leh... Anyway, I will give this show three and a half stars out of 5 stars.
Think Silas is quite handsome in real person but I can't imagine someone could actually hit and torture themself, although I read in some other storybooks that catholic nuns in some other countries also did that. Inflicting pain on my own body? Nah...Tom Hanks looks bald in this show but his character is damn smart...his brain worked so fast that it seemed just like a few seconds and he managed to decipher the codes and anagrams. Hahah..
After reading the book and watching the show, somehow I think all the events are too coincidental. The poems and codes are all beautifully created... But I wonder...are the bones of Mary Magdelene really lying beneath the small pyramid until the blade and chalice pyramids?
It's a mystery...
